To escape the situation in Peru, we retreated to an Airbnb in Taganga, Colombia! Beach views are a great alternative to political unrest!

Quirky and artsy, San Juan La Laguna is a cool place to visit.

So what do two deadbeats like us do to pass the time on Lake Atitlan?

We just moved into our new home for 1 month in San Pablo La Laguna. It will be nice to slow down for a bit!

We had a wonderful time viewing the beauty of San Pedro La Laguna with our Spanish language instructor Francisco!

San Pedro La Laguna has some amazing street art produced by skilled local artists. We did our best to find as many of their works as we could!

Finally made it to San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala to begin our Spanish language studies. Can’t believe we are students again!
